OVERVIEW

Rescue.co offers premium emergency response services in partnership with Kenya's largest network of emergency professionals.

I was thrilled to help launch Safe Travels, a new sub-brand from Rescue.co that provides Western travellers with top-notch trip coverage for their East African adventures.

I designed the brand identity and a user-friendly one-page website. I also created marketing materials displayed at major international and local airports, helping travellers easily find the information and protection they need for a worry-free trip.

Sub-brand design

Creating a sub-brand presents a unique challenge: balancing an independent identity with a clear association with the parent brand. Rescue.co, wanted their sub-brand—Safetravels to be distinct yet recognizable as part of the Rescue.co family.

To achieve this, I ensured the sub-brand logo subtly incorporated the Rescue.co name, leveraging the established goodwill of Rescue.co while allowing the sub-brand room to breathe. This sub-brand logo, a custom wordmark, marked the exciting beginning of the project - building the one-page sales website for Safetravels.

User-Centered Design for Safetravels

Next, I collaborated with the UX writer to craft a user-centred content architecture for Safetravels. Since Rescue.co operates in the security space, providing clear and detailed information is paramount. Together, we designed a website that prioritizes important details in an accessible way, ensuring users can find what they need without feeling overwhelmed.

Furthermore, I focused on optimizing the checkout process to enhance speed and efficiency.
This reduces the risk of users abandoning their purchases at the final stage, contributing to a smoother overall user experience.

Marketing materials

Rounding out the Safetravels project, I developed marketing materials targeted towards tourists in major International airports. These materials aimed to seamlessly convert travellers looking for travel insurance solutions during their East African adventures.
